Urilzid Tablet is used for the management of high blood pressure. This medicine works by eliminating the excess of water, sodium and potassium salts from the body in urine. It helps by reducing the blood volume and thus decreases the total amount of blood pumped by the heart per minute. This results in decreased blood pressure. Urilzid is also used to treat swelling associated with heart failure, corticosteroid or estrogen therapy, kidney and liver dysfunction with other medicines, to treat a disease that causes excessive thirst and heavy urination (also called, Diabetes insipidus), and to prevent kidney stones.
